MARRIAN HENLEY, age 87 of Amarillo, died March 15, 2014 in Amarillo.
Funeral services will be on Wednesday, March 19th at 10:00 AM at Schooler Funeral Home, Brentwood Chapel with VA Chaplin, Chris Kutin officiating. Burial will be at Llano Cemetery with military honors provided by the Unites States Marine Corp. Arrangements are by Schooler Funeral Home, 4100 South Georgia.
Marrian was born in Purcell, OK to AJ and Silvia Moore. After high school she enlisted in the United States Marine Corp. It was during her service that she met and married William C. “Bill” Henley.
Marrian was a member of the Victory Tabernacle and volunteered at Faith City Mission. She also served as president for the Fleet Reserve Women’s Auxiliary.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Bill Henley on March 17, 2009.
She is survived by her daughter, Melody Kennedy of Rutledge, Tennessee; three sons, Mike and Carl Henley of Amarillo, and Steve Henley of Denver, CO; a daughter, Charlsie Delgado of Arizona; ten grandchildren and seven great grandchildren.
