Marsh Lynn Eubanks Fox, of Amarillo, died peacefully on Friday, July 17, 2015.
Memorial Services will be held at 2:00 p.m., on Monday, July 20, 2015 in the Sanctuary of First Baptist Church with Dr. Howard K. Batson officiating.
Marsha was born in Amarillo, Texas on February 1, 1955 to Sam Eugene (Gene) and Vernell Eubanks. She graduated from Tascosa High School in 1973, and received a Bachelor’s Degree in Social Work at Baylor University in 1976. Marsha spent 3 years as a social worker at Methodist Home in Waco before returning to Amarillo to pursue an M.B.A. at West Texas A&M University. After receiving her M.B.A. Marsha worked for Diamond Shamrock for 5 years. As an active member of the Junior League of Amarillo, she volunteered for Meals on Wheels, beginning a 25-year connection with that organization. This culminated in being named Executive Director in 2005, a position in which she worked tirelessly for over 10 years.
She married the love of her life, Casey Joe Fox on August 13, 1983 at First Baptist Church in Amarillo. Casey and Marsha owned and operated Fox Auto and Diesel Repair for over 20 years.
She was preceded in death by her father, Gene.
Survivors include he husband, Casey; her mother, Vernell Eubanks; her “girls” Lillie and PDog; and a large circle of friends whom she loved dearly.
The family suggests that in lieu of flowers, memorials be made to Meals on Wheels of Amarillo 219 SW 7th Ave., Amarillo, Texas 79101 or to Hospice Care of the Southwest, 6600 Killgore Dr., Suite 110, Amarillo, Texas 79106.
