Martha Ann Bullock Collaer, 83, of Amarillo died March 21, 2020.
Memorial service will be at 4:00 p.m., May 29, 2020 at First Presbyterian Church. Arrangements are by Schooler Funeral Home.
Martha was born October 21, 1936 in Stillwater, OK to George Addison and Bess (Lineberry) Bullock. She grew up on Philmont Boy Scout Ranch near Cimmaron, NM where her father was the Director of Scouting. She graduated from the University of NM with a degree in mathematics and worked for National Cash Register for a period of time. She resided in Amarillo and retired from Potter County, as head of the Data Processing Dept.
Martha had a servant’s heart, serving as an Elder, Deacon and Clerk of Session at First Presbyterian Church. She also volunteered with Habitat for Humanity for many years and served on various other non-profit boards.
She kept her unique sense of humor in all circumstances; she was an avid patron of the arts, enjoyed her church circle, traveling the world, book clubs, cooking, playing bridge, Canasta, Dominos and was a member of Amarillo Republican Women.
She is preceded in death by her parents; and brother, Robert “Bruce” Bullock.
Martha is survived by her loving nieces, Susan Willard (Steve) and Ann Misra (Guru); great-nieces, Elizabeth and Natalee Willard all of Tuscaloosa, AL; her precious sister-in-law, Charlotte Bullock; step-nieces, Charlene Dutchman and Janelle Durant; her “Almost” daughter, Debbie Roush (Rusty); “Almost” grandchildren, Ashley Luu (Hieu) and Paige Roush (Brandon Kalka); “Almost” great-grandchildren, Tristen Luu, Dane and Gage Witt; and a host of dear friends.
The family suggests memorial contributions be made to First Presbyterian Church, Amarillo Little Theater, Amarillo Symphony or Amarillo Opera.
