GRAVESIDE SERVICES will be held at 2:00 PM at Llano Cemetery East. Burial will be in Llano Cemetery East.  Arrangements are by Schooler Funeral Home, 4100 South Georgia.BIOGRAPHY:Mary attended Amarillo High School.   She was a loving homemaker and talented florist.  She and her daughter owned the Flower Patch for many years.  She was devoted to her family and will be missed by all that knew and loved her.Mary was preceded in death by her husband, Gene “Mutt” Cates, twobrothers and four sisters. The family will receive visitors at the funeral home on Wednesday evening from 7:00 until 8:30 PMShe is survived by her daughter, Cathy Cochran of Amarillo; two sons, Mike and Sheri Cates of Amarillo and Sam Cates of Amarillo; two brothers, Bud Covey of Bedford and Jerry Covey of AmarilloFour grandchildren Mike Cates Jr, and wife Amanda, Chris Cates and Stephanie, Dennis Cates, Jennifer Cochran and Casey Bretz,, Josh Herrera and Makela CanalesSIX GREAT GRANDCHILDREN  Mike Cates, Jordan Cates, Colby Cates, Shyanne Cates, , Riley Cates and Jackson Bretz
