Mary Ellen Williams Maalouf was born April 10, 1954 in Leadville, Colorado. She and her family lived in various towns in Colorado throughout their time together, then returned to Leadville where she attended Lake County High School.
She met Geries Maalouf in Hereford, Texas and they married May 30, 1973. They eventually settled in Amarillo, Texas where they raised four daughters: Melinda, Jolene, Gina and Julie.
Mary Ellen was active in PTA and in her church bible study group in addition to being a devoted stay-at- home mother. She took great pride in her daughters’ accomplishments and in being “George’s wife” for over 46 years. Being Grammy to Carson, Matthew, Parker and Avery brought her great joy, as did snuggling with her grand dogs.
Mary Ellen reunites in heaven with her father Harden, her mother Myrtle and her brother Eddie. She is survived by her husband Geries, her daughter Melinda Wedding and her husband James, her daughter Jolene Woolley and her husband Jim, her daughter Gina Blair and her husband Cody, and her daughter Julie Maalouf-Yamada and her wife Shiina. She is also survived by her grandchildren Carson Wedding, Parker Wedding, Matthew Woolley and Avery Woolley. She also dearly loved her brothers Melvin Williams, Jerry Williams, Ron Williams and their families
