Mary Kathryn Scott

Funeral services will be held at 10 am on Friday, October 30 in the Brentwood Chapel of Schooler Funeral Home with Brad Spear, Sr. Pastor and Chester Beavers of Oasis Southwest Baptist Church officiating. Arrangements are by Schooler Funeral Home, 4100 South Georgia.
Kathy was born July 31, 1926 in Hamilton, MO to Marion and Ruby Lent. At an early age she moved with her family to Jamesport, MO. At the age of eleven they moved to Trenton, MO. She graduated from Trenton High School in 1944. Kathy worked for J.C. Penny until she married Charles H. Scott, Jr. in late 1945. Her husband, daughter, grandchildren, and great grandchildren made her happy. Kathy was saved and joined the Baptist Church in 1971.
Mrs. Scott was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Charles H. Scott, Jr., and a grandson, Scotty McCarty.
She is survived by one daughter, Sandra McCarty and husband Terry of Amarillo; three grandchildren, Deanna Pond and husband Terry, Kristina Tillery and husband Bob and Mason Allan McCarty; three great-grandchildren, Casey, Victoria and Zachary, and two brothers, Wendell Lent of Trenton, MO and Robert Lent of Phoenix, AZ.
