Mary "Pete" Virginia Rose (Brooks) Hale

Mary Virginia Rose “Pete” Hale, 82, of Amarillo, passed away November 17, 2021.

The family will receive visitors on Sunday, November 21, 2021 from 2:00 Pm until 4:00 PM at Schooler Funeral Home, 4100 South Georgia.  The funeral service will be held on Monday, November 22, 2021 at 2:00 PM in the Brentwood Chapel of Schooler Funeral Home.   Pastor Ryan Holmes, member of the family will officiate.  Interment will follow at Memory Gardens Cemetery.  Arrangement are by Schooler Funeral Home, 4100 South Georgia.

Mary was born April 23, 1939 in Dekalb, Texas to Lester “Red” and Gladys Bunger Brooks

She married Billy Beddingfield early in life. She worked at Furrs’ Supermarket in Abilene and Amarillo as a meat wrapper. Later on she married Ted Hale.  She loved painting, yard work, bowling, dancing, Red Hats, and being with family.

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband and twin daughters.

Survivors include, Rosie Holmes and husband Ronnie of Merkel, Texas, Billy Beddingfield and wife Kristine of Aledo Texas, Keith Beddingfield and wife Tina of Sanford, Florida, Missy McKee and husband Rodney of Amarillo, Texas, Monty Hale and wife Sherry of Adrian, Texas, and Teddi Hale of Amarillo, TX. Thirteen grandchildren, thirteen great-grandchildren, two brothers and three sisters.
