Megan Nichole Hendrix, age 31 of Amarillo died April 28, 2017
A celebration of the Megan’s life will be held on Tuesday, May 2 at 11:00 AM at Hillside Christian Church South. Greg Canada, minister and Rev. Craig Albracht will officiate. Arrangements are by Schooler Funeral Home, 4100 South Georgia.
Megan was born March 11, 1986 in Bartlesville, Oklahoma. She was a graduate of Amarillo High School and went on to attend the Milan Institute. She married Chuck Hendrix in Amarillo her partner in life for over fourteen years.
She excelled in her profession and not only became an instructor for Milan but also a very successful permanent makeup artist. She was also currently working on obtaining her real-estate license.
She had a huge personality and often said “people either like me or they don't!” Megan was never a follower, but a profound leader. She loved her friends and family immensely.
Megan was preceded in death by her grandfather, Howard Moore and her mother-in-law, Eula Frazier.
She is survived by her husband Chuck Hendrix of Amarillo; two daughters, Jordan Nichole and Jimi Vanae Hendrix; her parents, Meshell and David Moore of Frisco; her sister, Abbigayle Lee Moore of the Colony; her grandparents, Donia Caldwell, Warner and Theresa Ford all of Amarillo, Kenneth Hendrix Sr of Dallas; her aunts, Sheriece and Larry Strickland of Albuquerque, NM and Carla Ford of Austin. Her canine babies, Ghostface, Ashton, Gizmo and Nefi, also meant a great deal to her.
