Mia Elena-Rose Maciel

December 15, 2020 — April 10, 2021

Mia Elena-Rose Maciel, 4 months, of Amarillo passed away April 10, 2021.

Funeral service will be at 1:00 p.m., Saturday, April 17, 2021 at Schooler Funeral Home, 4100 S. Georgia St. Arrangements are by Schooler Funeral Home.

Mia was born December 15, 2020 to Joshua Maciel and Mariah Clayton. She touched so many lives during her short time with us. Mia went through five surgeries, but that never stopped her from smiling. Our baby love was so beautiful with chubby cheeks and the most beautiful curly hair. She loved facetiming with her sissy, Aliyah, her MiMi and GiGi. Mia loved music. She was a part of tiny super hero squad and will forever be our hero.

Mia is survived by her parents, Mariah and Joshua; sister, Aliyah Clayton; grandparents, Joe and Elizabeth Maciel, Billy and Kathy Clayton and Fayelynn Larsen; god-parents, Josh Annett and Shelby Hazen; her uncles; Jason Clayton and wife Paydan, Jeremy Clayton and wife Kynlee, Jared Clayton and wife Haley, Nick Scott, Dakoda Scott, and Jared Maciel; her aunt Amy Chaney and husband Jimmy; and many cousins.

The family suggests memorials be made to Ronald McDonald House, 1001 8th Ave, Fort Worth, TX 76104.
