Michael J. Burrows, 63, of Amarillo, passed away Friday, July 8, 2016.
Memorial services will be at 10:00 AM Saturday, July 16, 2016 at Unitarian Universalist Church, 4901 Cornell St., Amarillo, TX 79109. Arrangements are by Schooler Funeral Home, 4100 S. Georgia.
Mr. Burrows was born on October 24, 1952 to Vivian Duane and Johnnie Ray Burrows in Amarillo. Mike was the owner of Lawns Etc., a successful lawn service for close to twenty years. He was a gentle, quiet loving man who loved nature, fishing, animals, antiques and his family. He was loved dearly and will be greatly missed.
He was preceded in death by his parents; and his son, Michael Jay Burrows II.
Mr. Burrows is survived by his wife, Tracy Warren-Burrows of Amarillo; one daughter, Angela Dooley and her husband Brent of Bossier City, LA; one sister, Ellen Rutter and husband Marion of Clovis, NM; and two granddaughters, Amelia and Evelyn Dooley, both of Bossier City, LA.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorials be made to the Amarillo-Panhandle Humane Society, 3501 S. Osage St., Amarillo, TX 79118.
