Michael Loyd McLendon, age 61 of Amarillo died January 7, 2022 in Amarillo

Michael was born in Odessa, Texas on November 1, 1960 to his parents. Jimmy Boyd and Carol McConnell McLendon.  He attended Tascosa High School.  He worked for many years in the oil fields of Odessa. Michael moved to Amarillo about ten years ago to be closer to family.

He was preceded in death by his father, Jimmy.

Michael is survived by his mother Carol Schmieding and her husband Allen of Amarillo; three sisters, Valarie, Gretchen and Janella; and one brother, James.
