Michael Edwin O'Brien

Michael Edwin O’Brien, 67, of Dimmitt died Friday, September 21, 2018.

Memorial Service will be at 2:00 PM, Sunday, September 23, 2018 in Hillside Christian Church West Campus Chapel, 6100 Hillside, with Chaplain Keith Post and Greg Corona officiating. Arrangements are by Schooler Funeral Home, 4100 South Georgia.

Mike was born in Amarillo May 24, 1951 to E. Gale and Mary O’Brien. He was involved in the home building industry as a designer, contractor, and property manager. Mike also spent some time involved in IT systems with Perot Systems and Texas Tech.

He was preceded in death by his parents.

Mike is survived by his daughters, Lisa O’Brien and husband Scott Nelson of Amarillo, Christy Weiss and husband Jeffrey of Georgetown, Bonnie Hancock and husband Shaun of Amarillo, Abbey Hancock and husband Scott of Amarillo. His siblings, Linda Gray, Martha O’Brien, David O’Brien, Dan O’Brien, and Theresa Seideman.  His grandchildren, Pate Weiss, Eva Weiss, Bailey Hancock, Bryce Hancock, Chloe Hancock, Caden O’Brien, and Hope Hancock.
