Mike was born in Dumas, TX to Raymond and Anna Thomason. He married Marianne Duty on August 26, 1986 in Amarillo. He enjoyed spending time in Red River with friends and family, fishing and his dogs.
Mike was preceded in death by his parents; a sister Martha and a brother David.
Survivors include his wife Marianne; two daughters, Shelby Thomason and Emily Thomason ; two sons Luke Thomason and his wife Lisa and Matt Thomason and his wife Krissy all of Amarillo; a sister Anita Thomason of Texoma, and a brother Raymond Thomason and his wife Linda of Amarillo; five grandchildren, Tyler, Jatin, Brett, Lucus and Greyson and one great-grandchild, Baylon.
