Micheal Cecil Trammell peacefully passed away at BSA Hospice on November 6, 2018 at the age of 66.
A Celebration of Life Memorial Service will be held at Trinity Fellowship Church on Saturday 17, at 10am in the Student Ministries Building.
After fighting a faith-filled and courageous battle with cancer, he went to be with his Lord as the sun was setting Tuesday evening. Proceeded in death by his parents, Cecil and Billie Trammell. Mike’s memory will be cherished by his loving wife of 18 years, Valdi Trammell. He is survived by his sister, Cathy Howard, brother, Pat Trammell, and his daughters: Kris White, Amy Weatherford, Jamie Houston and Emily Hilleary. His 12 grandkids and great grandson due next year will carry on Mike’s legacy.
Micheal was the co-owner of 29:11 Homes and prided himself in building quality homes for families in the Panhandle. He was a true cowboy who loved raising cows, training horses, and life on the farm. Mike was a faithful member of Trinity Fellowship Church and loved serving in the Marriage Ministry. He never met a stranger and once a friend—you were a friend for life! Mike’s life is beautifully summed up by his favourite scripture, 1 Thessalonians 4:8 “…aspire to lead a quiet life, to mind your own business and to work with your own hands…that you may walk properly toward those who are outside, and that you may lack nothing.”
Flowers arranged through Shelton’s Flowers. Memorial donations in memory of Mike can be made to Jamie and Lea Peter’s missionary work in Burundi, Africa. (Send to BTS, P.O. Box 50808, Denton, Texas, 76206)
