Michele Stark Daniels, 51, of Amarillo, was ushered into heaven Friday evening, March 24, 2017, after a long battle with multiple sclerosis.
Memorial Services will be held at 10 a.m., Wednesday, March 29, 2017 at Washington Avenue Christian Church, with Jim Shelburne as officiant. Burial will be at 9 a.m. in Llano East Cemetery.
Michele was born March 2, 1966, in Amarillo. She graduated from River Road High
School and then went on to Texas Women's University where she received a Bachelors of Deaf
Education and a Masters in Counseling.
Michele was a professional counselor in Amarillo. She enjoyed volunteering at Washington
Street Family Service Center, going to Bible studies, and eating at Acapulco's Restaurant. She
had two dreams she would like to have accomplished if her MS ever went into remission (1) to
drive a plum Honda CRV and (2) to return to TWU to get her PhD in Counseling.
She is survived by her mother, Sammye Stark, Amarillo,Tx; her brother and his wife, Scott and
Becky Stark, Amarillo,Tx; their children, Savannah Stark and her son CJ Stark, Amarillo ,Tx and
Chance and Elizabeth Stark and their daughter Autumn, Lubbock, Tx; mother-in-law, Carla
Daniels, Katy, Tx; sister-in-law and her husband, Tambry and Larry Sims, Katy, Tx. 2 sons Trey
Daniels, Kuttawa, Kentucky and Jonathan Daniels, Amarillo,Tx.; her bet friends/sisters, Rhonda
Bilbrey, Denton,Tx; Julie Johnson,Crandall, Tx; and many aunts and uncles, nieces and
nephews and great nieces and nephews.
She is preceded in death by her father, Don Stark, and her husband, Jim Daniels.
The family asks that any contributions in memory of Michele be made to Washington Street
