Mildred L Christopher

Mildred L. Christopher, 97, of Amarillo died Sunday, November 14, 2010.Services will be Wednesday, November 17, at 2:00 P. M., at Schooler Funeral Home with the Reverend Roy Wheeler officiating.  Burial will be in Memorial Park Cemetery.Mildred was born February 14, 1913 in Swan, Texas to Willis Warren and Carrie Roberts.  She graduated from Tyler High School and Tyler Community College.  She married J. C. Christopher on December 7, 1974.  She was a member of Hillside Christian Church.She worked 32 years for Pioneer Natural Gas as a secretary, retiring in 1975.She was preceded in death by her husband, J. C. Christopher, parents and four sisters.Survivors include two grandsons, Choc Christopher and wife Sue of Celina, Texas and John Christopher of Plano, Texas; one granddaughter, Jamie Christopher of Amarillo, four great grand daughters, Carly, Amy, Julie and Abby Christopher, one great grandson, Kyle and a niece, Martha Williams of Tyler.The family suggests memorials be to their favorite charity.
