Minnie “Grandma” Ratliff, 98, of Amarillo died December 24, 2014.
Funeral Service will be held at 10:00 AM, Tuesday, December 30, 2014 at Schooler Funeral Home, Brentwood Chapel. Interment will be in Llano Cemetery. Arrangements are by Schooler Funeral Home, 4100 South Georgia.
Minnie was born June 8, 1916 in Sherman to Lonnie and Lillie Jenkins. She married J. T. Ratliff in 1933. They moved to Amarillo in 1938 where she was a homemaker most of her life. She loved hot rods and street rodding and was a member of the High Plains Drifters Car Club.
She was preceded in death by her husband; 2 daughters, Mary Wilcox and Joann Lumen; and 1 son, Jimmy Ratliff.
Minnie is survived by 1 son, Dan Ratliff and wife, Patsy; 1 daughter-in-law, Sharon Ratliff; 1 son-in-law, Don Wilcox, all of Amarillo; 15 grandchildren; several great-grandchildren and several great-great grandchildren.
Family suggests memorials be made to the American Heart Association, the American Cancer Society, or the Diabetes Association.
The family will receive friends from 5-7 PM Monday at the funeral home
