Nancy Lynn Daugherty, 56, died Tuesday, December 31, 2013, in Amarillo.

Nancy was born January 14, 1957 in Amarillo to Dr. Roy and Jackie Daugherty. In 1975, she graduated from Amarillo High School where she was a member of the golf team. She attended Paris Junior College in Paris, TX for one year. Nancy also graduated from Texas Women’s Job Corps.
She was an accomplished artist and was known for her generosity in giving to the less fortunate and was a member of Kingswood United Methodist Church.
She was preceded in death by her father and three brothers.
She is survived by her mother, Jackie Daugherty of Amarillo; three nieces, Abbey Daugherty, Takishya Runde, and Shannon Gardner; and one nephew, Eric Daugherty.
The family suggests memorials be made to Presbyterian Children’s Home, 3400 S. Bowie, Amarillo, TX 79109.
