Nealie E.  Brandon, of Amarillo died Wednesday, May 9, 2012.

Services will be held Friday, May 11, 2012 at 2:00 PM at First Baptist Church Amarillo Chapel, with Dr. Howard Batson, Pastor of First Baptist Church Amarillo, and Jerry Bell, Chaplain of Park Place, officiating.  Arrangements are by Schooler Funeral Home, 4100 S. Georgia.

Nealie was born May 27, 1918 in Lineville Alabama, to James and Cora Pearl Eidson.  She married Horace R. Brandon, and they were married until his passing in 1983.  She worked at Colbert’s Department Store, retiring after 32 years of service.  Nealie was a member of First Baptist Church Amarillo for over 50 years.

She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, three sisters and three brothers.

Nealie is survived by one daughter, Phyllis Dubuque and husband Louis of Austin; three granddaughters, Aimee Petty and husband Will, Leslie Williams and Nicole Dubuque; four great grandchildren, Baker, Byers, London and Larrabee; numerous nieces and nephews as well as her good friend, Cheryl Cohen.

The family will receive visitors on Thursday, May 10,  from 7-8:30 at Schooler Funeral Home.

The family suggests memorial contributions be made to Odyssey Hospice, 6900 West I-40 West Suite 150, Amarillo, TX  79106.
