Nina Jean Stewart passed away Saturday, March 17, 2018.
Funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m. Tuesday March 20, 2017 at Westminster Presbyterian Church, 2525 Wimberly Rd. Burial will follow in Memorial Park Cemetery. Arrangements are by Schooler Funeral Home, 4100 S. Georgia St.
Nina Jean was born on July 17, 1925 to Elijah and Eula Mae Motley in Peel, Arkansas, and resided most of her life in Amarillo. She worked as a secretary for over thirty-five years at Santa Fe Railway. In her spare time, she graciously devoted herself to various charities. She was also an avid bridge player, involved with several organizations.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Ralph Stewart; her son, William Stewart; her daughter, Mary Ann Stewart; and her grandson, John Stewart.
Nina Jean is survived by her granddaughter, Jennifer Stewart and her husband Dylan; and numerous nieces and nephews.
The family would like to express their heartfelt appreciation to Amanda Griego, Jessica Lucero, and Adriana Avila for their love and care they provided to Nina Jean in her final days.
Visitation will be 6-7:00 p.m., Monday, March 19, 2018 at the funeral home.
Memorial contributions may be made to the American Heart Association or to a favorite charity.
