Nita Mae Clements

March 31, 1930 — December 2, 2011

Nita Mae Low Clements, age 81, died December 28, 2011.  Funeral Services will be at Schooler Funeral Home – Brentwood Chapel at 10:00 AM Tuesday, January 3, 2012 with Pastor Jim Wilhite officiating.  Graveside Service will be at 3:00 PM Tuesday, January 3, 2012 in Childress Cemetery in Childress, Tx. Arrangements are by Schooler Funeral Home, 4100 S. Georgia.

Nita was born March 31, 1930 to H.H. and Bessie (Macon) Low in Childress, Texas.  She married A.J. Clements on May 25, 1946, and they had two sons, Ronnie and Tony. Nita was a beautician for 50 years most of which was in Amarillo, Texas.  Prior to moving to Oklahoma to be with her son, Ronnie, she lived in Phoenix, Arizona for 20 years. Her passion was shopping. Nita had many favorite shops and would always take family and friends to those shops when visiting with her. She was an avid shopper and could always find great bargains. We will miss her bright colors and her caps! We love you.

She is survived by son, Ron Clements and wife, Chris of Yukon, Oklahoma; two granddaughters, Mandy and Amy; one great grandson, Brock, all of Oklahoma; nephews, Roy Honeycutt and wife, Shirley of Decatur; Lynn Low and wife, Penny of San Antonio; Mike Low and wife, Mary of Bonham; and Rick Low and wife, Donna of Waxahachie;  Jim Wilhite and wife, Brenda of Amarillo, and Jud Wilhite and wife Lori of Henderson, NV, nieces, Sherry Field of Corpus Christi, Sandy Field and husband, Larry of Crosby; Dianna Melson and husband Heidt of Amarillo, and Brenda Hunt and husband Bruce of Amarillo, and many grand nephews and nieces.
