Nora Lee Barnett-Kirkland, 44, of Amarillo, passed away on Sunday, October 29, 2017.
Funeral Services will be at 2:00 p.m. Wednesday, November 1, 2017 in Schooler Funeral Home’s Brentwood Chapel, with Matt Crawford officiating. Interment will follow in Llano Cemetery. Arrangements are by Schooler Funeral Home, 4100 S. Georgia.
Nora was born on July 7, 1973 in Slaton, Texas to Garner and Josephine Waters. Nora first and foremost was a mother. She was beautiful, humble and an encourager. She was a light and inspiration for others and her presence brought out the best in people. Nora loved adventure, she was fearless and not afraid of anything. She was a wonderful and loving wife, mother and friend to many.
Nora was preceded in death by her parents. She is survived by her husband Jessie Kirkland of Amarillo; two sons, Trey Barnett and Colby Kirkland, both of Amarillo.
