Nora Mae Roberts

Graveside Service will be held at 2:00 p.m., April 7, 2011 at Llano Cemetery, Amarillo, TX.Arrangements are by Schooler Funeral Home, 4100 South Georgia.Mae was born in Bowie, Montaque County, Texas on November 27, 1924.  She moved to Pleasant Valley in 1937 with her family.  Mae was the youngest of three children.  Mae was in the banking business for forty-seven years, starting with First National Bank and ending her career with Nation’s Bank.  Mae was preceded in death by her parents Woodson E. and Edna O. Roberts and a sister, Mildren and her husband Floyd Smith of Redmond, Washington.She is survived by her brother, Bob of Amarillo; nephew Rick Smith and wife Carole of Kirkland, Washington; niece, Rita Schwalk and husband Byron of Perryton, TX; many great nieces and nephews, many great-great nieces and nephews, and two great-great- great nieces.Memorials may be made to Senior Village, 3101 S. Main, Perryton, TX 79070.
