Norma Jean Holmes Allison of Celina, Texas died Tuesday June 25, 2019, she lived in Amarillo from 1955 to 2010.
Visitation will be from 6-7:00 p.m., Friday, June 28, 2019 at Schooler Funeral Home Brentwood Chapel, 4100 S. Georgia St. Funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m. Saturday June 29, 2019 at the funeral home with Justin Krieg Pastor as officiant. Burial will be in Memory Gardens Cemetery.
Norma was born January 21, 1935 in Stinnett Texas to Charlie Thomas Holmes and Catherine Gladis Larkey Holmes. She was employed by Western National Life for 37 years and retired 12/18/1996. She served in underwriting, managed the new business department and later on processed life insurance claims. She was a proud member of Westview Christian Church.
Norma loved family and always enjoyed having a big meal with all the family around. She loved shopping for the grandchildren and great-grandchildren at Christmas time which brought her much joy. She spent much time with her sister Dorothy traveling, shopping and getting their hair done each Friday.
Survivors include a son Michael Allison and wife Rita of Celina; a sister Mary Kay Bridges of Stinnett; two grandchildren Regina Krieg and husband Justin and Richard Riley; four great grandchildren Kailee Krieg, Kaci Mu and her husband Don Mu, Brianna Krieg, and Brady Krieg. She had several nieces and nephews who she dearly loved. She was proceeded in death by her parents Charlie and Catherine Holmes, her husband Joe Allison, her sister Dorothy Crutchfield.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Westview Christian Church of Amarillo, the Alzheimer’s Association, or a favorite charity.
