Norman was born March 4, 1921 in Los Animas, CO to Hershel and Alice Allen. He met Edna Hamel and they married June 16, 1955 in Santa Fe, NM. He was involved in the trucking and automotive industry since 1950. He owned Stockyard Shamrock Gas. He was a longtime member of Trinity Baptist Church.
He was preceded in death by his brother, Clinton C. Allen; two sisters, Lennie Jones and Gwen Wallace.
He is survived by his wife of 53 years, Edna; one sister, Marilyn Hooten of Amarillo, and many nieces and nephews.
