Odis Shoffner, age 89 of Amarillo died May 31, 2015 in Amarillo.
Funeral Services will be at Trinity United Methodist Church on Wednesday, June 3 at 10:00 AM. The Rev. Josh Khoury will officiate. Burial will be at Memory Gardens Cemetery. Military Honors will be provided by the US Army. Burial will be at Memory Gardens Cemetery. Arrangements are by Schooler Funeral Home, 4100 South Georgia
Odis was born December 24, 1925 to Milt and Vida Shoffner at Lamesa, Texas. He spent his early years at Dunn and Colorado City, Texas.
Odis served two years in the US Army before marrying Paulyne McKee on Feb 1, 1951 in Clovis, New Mexico. The couple raised three children. He retired from the VA Hospital in 1985. He was a member of Trinity United Methodist Church where he was very active before becoming ill. He also served as a volunteer selling popcorn and driving the carts at NWTH. Odis will be greatly missed by everyone.

Odis was preceded in death by his parents, four siblings; a daughter, Mary and one son Robert Doyle.
He is survived by his wife Paulyne; two sons Roger and Rodney and his wife Betty all of Amarillo; seven granddaughters, Carly, Amanda, Racheal, Shauna, Tiffany, Shannon and Jennifer; one grandson, Russell; two great granddaughters Gracelyn and Jentri; one great grandson, Ethan; several nieces and nephews.
