Services Information:Memorial Services will be held on Saturday, July 3rd at 10:00 AM at the Polk Street United Methodist Church Chapel. Rev. Marty Hamrick will officiate.  Arrangements are by Schooler Funeral Home, 4100 South Georgia.)Bio:We honor the life of Otho Foster who was a good and loving son, brother, husband, father, uncle, grandfather, great grandfather and friend.   To know him was to know a man of strong principles and high values.  A person is only as good as their word, and, Otho’s word was “golden.”  He lived his life this way with an instilled sense of commitment and accountability.  Otho’s upbringing in the cotton fields served him well in his career as terminal manager of a motor freight business for some forty years.  Even though he was a tough boss and co-worker he was fair and very much respected and loved by all.  Everyone liked being around Otho’s great sense of humor and listening to him tell a good joke or story.When he was not working Otho enjoyed hunting, fishing, and water sking with his family and friends.  Also, he liked to be outdoors working in the yard and on projects around his home.  During his quiet times he would read western books and worked diligently on crossword puzzles.  Otho delighted in grilling outside and serving up a great plate of ribs.  His cornbread dressing and pecan pies were such a tasty treat for everyone during the holidays.Otho Foster will be painfully missed by those of us he left behind.  He was one of a kind, and, one of the best.  The mold was broken when God made him for us.  We celebrate his life and are so blessed to have been in his life and him in ours.  We will continue to love him always and forever!SURVIVORS include his wife Rheafern “Perky” Foster; his daughter Chesna Foster of Amarillo; his son Delbert Foster and wife Elaine of Temple, TX; two granddaughters, Delaina Foster of Houston and Tara Foster of Marquette, MI ; two grandsons Kendrick and Carson Foster both of Houston;  and two nieces, Carol Miller of De Soto, TX and Deloris Brown of Corona, CAMemorial Suggestions: Polk Street United Methodist Church, 1401 South Polk Amarillo, TX 79101 or BSA Hospice, P.O.
