Pamela Lynn Kimbrough

Pamela Lynn Kimbrough of Amarillo died Wednesday, October 3, 2012 in Arlington, TX.

Memorial service will be at 2:30 p.m. on Friday, October 12, 2012 at Pinnacle Community Church with Kurt Oheim officiating.

Pamela was born July 27, 1959 in Cincinnati, Ohio, the daughter of Stanley J and Betty L Geiser.  She graduated from Tascosa High School in 1978.  Pamela also graduated from Winward Community College in Kaneohe, Hawaii.  She traveled throughout the United States and Hawaii.

Pamela worked for Southwestern Bell.  From April 2001 to 2008 she worked as a Classified Advertising Sales Associate at the Amarillo Globe News.  She said her favorite job was working as a Certified Nurse’s Aide helping the elderly.

She was preceded in death by her father, Stanley J. Geiser; sister, Jaime Dawn Meyer; brother, William Geiser; and step father, Jim Meyer.

Survivors include her husband, Edward (Ned) Kimbrough; sons, Rian Kirk Meyer and Roger Davis Jr.; mother, Betty L. Penney and step-father Gerald Penny of Arlington, TX, step-sons, James (Jake) Kimbrough and Benjamin (Ben) Kimbrough; brother, Stanley (Butch) Meyer and wife Sandrena; 5 sisters, Kimetha A. Kendall, Brenda K Holmes and husband Eric, Stephanie Barclay and husband David, Wendy Geiser and Cindy Geiser; 2 brothers, Bruce and Buddy Geiser; best friends, Debra Erickson and Sue Turner; and several nieces and nephews.

The family would like to offer their heartfelt thanks to the following who supported Pamela during her 2 year battle with cancer: Phoenix Hospice in Arlington, TX, Texas Oncology, Amarillo, TX, American Cancer Society, Amarillo, TX and Hope Lodge, Lubbock, TX.

Memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society.
