Patricia Lorraine Belcher, 64, of Amarillo died August 28, 2014.
A Rosary will be held at 6:00 PM, Monday, September 1, 2014 in Schooler Funeral Home Brentwood Chapel. Memorial Mass will be held at 10:00 AM, Tuesday, September 2, 2014 in St. Mary’s Catholic Cathedral with Rev. Scott Raef celebrating. Arrangements are by Schooler Funeral Home, 4100 South Georgia.
Patricia Lorraine Belcher was born in Amarillo, Texas August 31st 1949 to parents John H. and Marjorie Mary Bichsel-Raef and went to be with her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on August 28th 2014. Patricia enjoyed childhood with her brother Howard and her sisters Linda, Marian, Dorothy and Tony. Pat graduated from Palo Duro High School in 1968. She was introduced to the love of her life and husband Bobby Belcher July the Fourth 1968. Bobby and Patricia were married on July 26th 1969, for forty-five years. In that time, they were amazing parents to a beautiful daughter Heather, and two wonderful sons Cody and Evan. Pat was a stay-at-home mother until her children were grade school age and then worked as an executive assistant at Southwestern Public Service for many years and recently retired from Schooler Funeral Home. Patricia was eternally grateful for her faith in the Lord, her church family at Saint Mary’s Catholic Cathedral and her countless friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents and one sister, Dorothy.
Patricia’s survivors include her loving husband Bobby; her children Heather Belcher-Frye and husband Trey; Evan Belcher and his wife Erin; and eldest son Cody Belcher; one brother and three sisters, as well as numerous nieces and nephews. Additionally, she was a grandmother to six wonderful grandchildren: Callon, Alex, Dawson, Emerson, Ethan and Emily whom she doted on and loved very much.
