Patricia “Pat” Mogg, 69, of Amarillo, went home to be with her Heavenly Father on August 24, 2018.
Patricia was born in Littlefield, Texas on December 4, 1949 to Melton Ray Dunn and Florence Virginia Turvaville. She worked as the Municipal Court Clerk for the City of Plainview for 29 years. She moved to Amarillo in 2006 to be closer to family. She enjoyed reading, and was a movie enthusiast; she liked watching Hallmark movies, musicals and old westerns. She also loved watching Dancing with the Stars with her Aunt Charlotte. She was a caring, loving, selfless mother and grandmother. She always took care of others. Patricia loved the Lord and her family. She was a member of Arden Road Baptist Church where she filled in as a Sunday school teacher on occasion and was an avid church supporter.
Family will receive friends Monday August 27, 2018 from 6:00 – 7:00 p.m. at Schooler Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held 10:00 a.m. Tuesday, August 28, 2018 at Arden Road Baptist Church with Pastor Joseph Johnson officiating. Burial will be at Llano Cemetery. Arrangements are by Schooler Funeral Home, 4100 S. Georgia Street.
Patricia was preceded in death by her mother Florence Dunn, her father Melton Dunn and her favorite Aunt Elsie.
Survivors include her daughter Trina Mathews and husband Chris of Amarillo; her son Chance Mogg and wife Cristi of Perryton; her brother Clifford Dunn of Lubbock; her sister Shirley Hollowell and husband Donald of Abilene; her Uncle Roy Dunn and wife Charlotte of Amarillo; her six grandchildren, Taylor, Tayden and Trevor Mitchell, Reagan Mathews, Cash and Conli Mogg in addition to many other loving family members.
