Patsy Marie Barfield, 78, of Amarillo died November 6, 2021.

Visitation will be from 5-8:00 p.m., Wednesday, November 10, 2021 at Schooler Funeral Home, 4100 S. Georgia St. Funeral service will be at 2:00 p.m., Thursday, November 11, 2021 at the funeral home. Interment will follow in Llano Cemetery East. Arrangements are by Schooler Funeral Home.

Patsy was born June 3, 1943 in Amarillo, TX to Horace and Edna Marie Price. She graduated from Palo Duro High School and married Ronald Loy Barfield on March 30, 1960. Patsy loved reading, doing puzzles and sewing. She was a fantastic mother in law and she spoiled her grandbabies. She took great care of the family, and made doll and children clothing.  Patsy was a talented seamstress but a horrible cook. She was also a member of Amarillo Baptist Church.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Horace and Marie Price; her husband, Ronald L. Barfield; brother, Jimmy Price; and great-grandson, Traketon Taylor.

Patsy is survived by daughters, Terri Criswell (Tim) and Sherry Hoff (Richard); son, Brad Barfield (Micah); brothers, Howard Price (Denise) and David Price (Terry); 6 grandchildren; and 7 great-grandchildren.
