Paul Sigler, 79, of Amarillo died on January 23, 2015.
Funeral Mass will be at 10:00 a.m., on Monday, at St. Mary’s Cathedral with Father Scott Raef officiating. Burial will be in Llano Cemetery. Arrangements are by Schooler Funeral Home 4100 S. Georgia. St.
Paul was born on May 26, 1935, in Sioux Falls, South Dakota, to Charles and Hazel Armstrong Sigler.
He joined the Air Force when he was seventeen years old and spent his enlistment years in Misawa, Japan. He was a Korean War Veteran.
Paul married Stella Marie Sigler, in 1956, in Amarillo, and they spent most of their married lives in Amarillo. He retired from the Postal Service in 1990 with 31 years of government service.
He was preceded in death by his parents; two sisters Marjorie and Phylyss; and one brother Charles.
Paul is survived by his wife; two sons Jack Sigler of Yukon, Oklahoma, Kevin Sigler and wife Donna, of Black River Falls, Wisconsin; two daughters, Julie Page and husband Kyle, and Sharon Bryant and husband T.J., all of Amarillo; seven grandchildren Jon Sigler, Jeff Bryant, Joshua Nelson, Corbin Sigler, Rachel Nelson, Sarah Sigler, and Jenny Sigler; three great-grandchildren, Genevieve, Mackenzie, and Alister; a brother Thomas Russell and wife Lynda and son Chad of Arlington; a nephew Michael Olson and wife Betty and their children of Martin, South Dakota.
He will be missed by his family and friends.
