Paulette D. Cartwright, age 69 of Amarillo, died Sunday, June 23, 2013 in Amarillo.
Graveside Services will be held at Memory Gardens Cemetery at 10:00 AM on Tuesday, June 25, 2013. Mr. Glen Walton of Bell Avenue Church of Christ will officiate. Arrangements are by Schooler Funeral Home, 4100 South Georgia.
Paulette was born in Kingsville, TX to Charlie and Billie Cartwright on September 14, 1943. She graduated from high school in 1962 in San Antonio. She worked as an airline stewardess and lived in New York City before moving to Milwaukee. Paulette worked in the hotel industry for over thirty years for Days Inn before retiring in 2003.
In 2003 she moved back to Amarillo to help care for her parents along with her brother, Jon. In 2006 she joined Bell Avenue Church of Christ. She enjoyed eating out with Jon at some of her favorite places, Golden Corral and Furr's Cafeteria.
Paulette is survived by her brother Jon; and aunt, Dorothy Smith of Plainview and by a cousin Dan Smith of Lockney.
