Philip Thomas Hilton

December 28, 1978 — June 16, 2018

Philip Thomas Hilton, 39, of Fort Worth, left his earthly body on June 16, 2018.

A celebration of life will be held at 6:00 p.m., Thursday, June 21, 2018 at First Presbyterian Church, 1100 S. Harrison St., Amarillo. Arrangements are by Schooler Funeral Home, 4100 S. Georgia St.

Philip was born on December 28, 1978 as the oldest son of Philip and Robbie Hilton.

Philip embraced life as an opportunity to find fun and adventure in every moment and to embrace every day with love and kindness. God brought Philip and Ashlee (Hunt) together 15 years ago and they were married July 8, 2006.  They have spent their life together with lots of laughter, making memories and building a family.

Philip was a fan of the great outdoors, good music, Ranger Baseball and Red Raider Football. Philip loved spending time with his family, especially skiing and fishing.  Philip was a brother, son, uncle and friend to many. Philip's most favorite role was being a daddy to his boys, Knox Lawrence, and Nash Thomas Hilton. He enjoyed making his boys laugh and starting the occasional kitchen dance party. Philip worked many years in the Communications Field. Philip lived his life in a way that sends the message to always be a little kinder than necessary in all situations.

Philip will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him.

He was preceded in death by his mother in law, Terry Hunt; brother in law, Miles Liston; grandparents, Lelton and Dorothy Hilton; and grandfather, Robert E. Cherry.

Philip leaves behind his wife, Ashlee; sons, Knox and Nash of Fort Worth, TX; parents, Robbie and Philip Hilton of Lubbock, TX; his siblings, Hayley Hilton Liston of Amarillo, TX; two nieces, Elizabeth and Olivia Liston, of Amarillo, TX; Jacob Hilton and wife Kristina of Golden, CO; Rachael Kemp and husband Bryan of Wellington, TX; father in law, Chris Hunt of Friona, TX; brother in law, Keith Hunt of Amarillo, TX; grandmother, Joyce Cherry of Lubbock, TX; and numerous aunts, uncles and cousins.

In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorials be made to First National Bank of Friona, c/o Hilton Boys Scholarship Fund, 710 W. 11st St., Friona, Tx 79035 or any Happy State Bank location, c/o Knox and Nash Hilton Scholarship Fund.
