Memorial Services will be held at 4:00 PM on March 6th, at First Presbyterian Church. Dr. Murray Gossett will officiate. A private family graveside service will be held at 3:00 P.M., on March 6th, at Llano Cemetery. Arrangements are by Schooler Funeral Home, 4100 South Georgia. Phillip was born on November 24, 1980, in Amarillo, Texas, to John and Carol Abraham Pratt. He graduated from Tascosa High School in 1999, and graduated with a BBA in Marketing from University of Texas Arlington in 2004, receiving a Marketing Honors Graduate designation for his independent research study completed in conjunction with faculty professors. Phillip was an easy-going man who always had a friendly smile. He was a generous and loyal friend, and a devoted son. He had been a working co-partner in Leisure Leasing Company of Amarillo for many years. After relocating to Raleigh, North Carolina, he created a non-profit charity organization known as http://www.helpsdogs.org. He rescued and adopted two beloved dogs and a cat. Phillip was an entrepreneur and utilized his creativity and business acumen in launching and managing internet-based businesses, along with developing corporate websites. A true Renaissance man, he was a lover of art, music, and automobiles, and had mastered three foreign languages. All of his family were very proud of him, and are saddened to lose him to an accidental drowning at such a young age. He was a member of First Presbyterian Church in Amarillo, Texas. He is preceded in death by his Grandfather, Nay Abraham; and his Grandfather, John Pratt, Sr. Survivors include his mother, Carol Abraham Pratt of Amarillo; his father, John Pratt of Wellington; his aunt, Martha Abraham Casad of Dallas; his two uncles, Charlie Abraham of Amarillo and Mick Abraham of Pagosa Springs, CO; his grandmother, Bonnie Abraham of Amarillo; his grandmother, LaFern Pratt Hudson of Wellington, Texas; and numerous cousins.
