Phyllis Ann Seward passed away, surrounded by love, on Monday, March 29, 2010.Memorial services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, April 2nd, at Lake Tanglewood Community Church. Dr. Roger Hubbard will officiate. Arrangements are by Schooler Funeral Home, 4100 South Georgia.Phyllis was born on July 20, 1937 in Gentry, Arkansas, to Lawrence Andrew and Beatrice “Bea” Leach. She graduated from Buffalo High School and went on to receive her RN by diploma. She married Charles Seward in 1969 in Oklahoma City, OK. Phyllis worked as an Intensive Care Nurse at Baptist Memorial Hospital in Oklahoma City. She co-founded the Palo Duro Indian Trading Company, Inc. in Amarillo, TX, in 1990. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, neighbor and friend. She is preceded in death by her parents and her brother Joe Bob Leach of Oklahoma City, OK. Survivors include her husband, Dr. Charles W. Seward; her sister, Vicki Roberson of Chandler, OK; her daughters, Mikki Marie Morris of Quail, TX, Jama Joette Claypool of Oklahoma City, OK; her grandsons, Jimmy Claypool, Grayson Morris and Payton Morris; her great-grandchildren, Taryn, Logan, and Kaiden Claypool.
