Queena Pollan Harvey

February 9, 1955 — March 7, 2017

Queena Pollan Harvey, 62, of Amarillo, passed away on Tuesday, March 7, 2017 in Amarillo.

Funeral services will be at 2:00 PM Saturday, March 11, 2017 in Schooler Funeral Home’s Brentwood Chapel with Bro. Steve Nelson, family friend, officiating.  Burial will follow in Llano Cemetery.  Arrangements are by Schooler Funeral Home, 4100 S. Georgia.

Queena was born on February 9, 1955 in Vernon to Ronald Clifford and Ruby Lea Pollan.  She spent much of her life in real estate, most recently taking over the Polllan family business, mainly the development of Lonesome Dove Estates in Amarillo.  She married Barry Harvey on May 27, 2000 in Amarillo.  She was considered a true caretaker, always taking care of everyone else.  She made an impression on everybody she knew.  Family and her love for the Lord were first and foremost in her life.  She was a great wife and mom.  She will be greatly missed.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Ron and Ruby Pollan; and one sister, Margie Pollan.

Queena is survived by her husband, Barry Harvey of Amarillo; one son, Noel Scribner of Amarillo; one grandson, Jacob Scribner of Arlington, Texas; and a nephew, Paul and a niece, Kaitlyn, both of Amarillo.

In lieu of flowers, the family suggests donations be made to your favorite animal rescue organization.  Queena would want you to ‘take care of the fur babies’.
