Racheal Campsey Scarber Pearce, 102, of Amarillo died Thursday, March 14, 2013.
Funeral services will be at 2:00 p.m., Sunday, March 17 in Brentwood Chapel at Schooler Funeral Home with Mr. Glen Walton officiating. Private family interment will be in Llano Cemetery. Arrangements are by Schooler Funeral Home, 4100 S. Georgia, Amarillo, Texas.
Racheal was born June 15, 1910 in Post Oak, Texas. She married Donald Scarber in 1934 and lived in Jacksboro, Texas until they moved to Amarillo in 1958. Donald died in 1974. Racheal married Jess Pearce in 1980, and Jess died in 2002.
Racheal worked for J. Lee Milligan, Inc. for 36 years.
She is preceded in death by her son, Clifford Scarber, in 2002.
Survivors include two daughters, Virgie Mitchell of Bryson, Texas and Ruth Hudson and husband, Bill, of Amarillo; five grandchildren, Lynn Campbell and husband, Bob, of Gig Harbor, WA, Royce Wall of Vashon, WA, Julie Kinder of Bryson, TX, David Mitchell and wife Candi, of Whitt, TX, and Christy Hopper and husband Ronny, of Bryson, TX; nine great-grandchildren; and six great-great grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to your favorite charity.
