Ramona was the mother of 3 and a mom to many. Always taking in extras around the dinner table, including boys from Boys Ranch. Her home was never too small.  She was also known as a ‘collector of many’. You name it, she probably collected it. Always dressed to a tee and very fond of jewelry.

She was involved for many years with the Amarillo Senior Citizens, serving on the Board of Directors. A member of the Red Hat Ladies Society, Watch and Clock Club along with her husband, Women’s Ministry, a member of the Carson County Square House Museum, Demonstrations Club just to name a few. She was always involved.

Ramona was born on April 24th, 1930 in Amarillo to Jessie and Zella White. Grew up in Amarillo and in Panhandle. On November 19, 1949 she married the love of her life, Vaughn Dale Price in Clovis, NM. They had celebrated nearly 56 years of marriage before he passed away.

She is preceded in death by her husband, Vaughn Dale Price, her parents.  Four sisters; Vesta White, Tommie Lee White Jones, Nelda White Baker and Delores White Endsley. Two brothers; Thomas White and James White, a granddaughter, Angela Price and grandson by choice, Russell Honea.

Ramona is survived by her children; daughter, Karen Price Novak of Amarillo and sons Vaughn Douglas Price and wife Mary Anne of Woodinville, WA and Vernon Daniel Price and wife Kandy of Amarillo. A son & daughter by choice, Henry and Deann Honea of Amarillo. 8 Grandchildren; James Novak and wife Kimberly, Jason Novak and wife Vicky both of Amarillo. Robert Price, Anne Marie Price and significant other Mitchell; Lindsey Richards and husband Kyle and Emily James and husband Alex all of Woodinville, WA. Robin Barker and husband Steven of Amarillo and Scott Price of Beaumont. A  granddaughter by choice, Pamela Honea and 17 great-grandchildren.   Two sisters, Carroll Brigman, Loretta Connelly Cole and husband Roy all of Amarillo. And many more loving family and friends.

Viewing at Schooler Funeral Home, 4100 S. Georgia, Amarillo, will be open for guests on Thursday, May 17 from 8:00 a.m. – 8:00 p.m.
