Randy Jay Ingland, age 62 of Amarillo, died May 18, 2015 in Amarillo.
Memorial services will be held at Schooler Funeral Home, Brentwood Chapel on Saturday, May 23, 2015 at 2:00 PM Curtis Sarah will officiate. Arrangements are by Schooler Funeral Home, 4100 South Georgia.
Randy was born Feb 8, 1953 in Oceanside, California to Jay and Betty Jean Ingland. He was raised in Liberal, Kansas and after graduation he moved to Amarillo to attend West Texas State University in 1971.
Randy worked for the Santa Fe Railroad until his retirement. He then went to work for P&W Abatement, LLC until his retirement in 2014.
Randy was an avid gun collector and hunter. He enjoyed woodworking and was known to attend Nascar races quite often. There were several things that Randy enjoyed throughout his life, however nothing compared to the love he had for his family and the Elks. He delighted in time spent with his precious granddaughters. He also was devoted to the Elks Lodge. Randy served as a past Exalted Ruler of the Elks Lodge and past GERDD of the Panwest District.
He is preceded in death by his parents and by a daughter, Courtney Kay Ingland
He is survived by his daughter, Stephanie Phommyvong of Amarillo; his two grandchildren, Chloe May and Calli Ann; his brother Andy Ingland and wife Marsha of Wichita, Kansas; his ex-wife Janis K. Ingland and her husband Mike Wilson; and his son-in-law Colby Phommyvong all of Amarillo.
The family suggests that memorials be made to the Amarillo Elks Lodge in care of the Sweetheart or ENF Fund, 932 Clyde St, Amarillo, TX 79106
