Renia Oliver Lovejoy was born in Amarillo Texas to Randolph Houston Oliver and Lorean Collins Oliver on June 3, 1956. She was a loving daughter, mother, sister aunt, and friend.  Renia knew no strangers and  affectionately greeted all she encountered with a big smile, hug and boisterous “Praise the Lord”, “Hallelujah” or ”Helluurrr” (in her Madea’s voice).   Renia became a follower of Christ as a young child and spent most of her life serving the Lord.  She had unwavering faith in the Lord and continued to share His praises and sought to draw others into the kingdom even as battled cancer.  She was most recently a dedicated member of Greater Love Temple Church under the leadership of Bishop Jackie G. Riles Sr. and Dr. Georgia Riles.

Renia was a graduate of Palo Duro High School in 1974.  She is known by most through her many years in the hospitality/restaurant industry where she went above and beyond to make every experience memorable.  Whether it was a big smile, a hug, words of encouragement, small acts of service, sharing a scripture or even through song, she wanted all she encountered to feel special and loved.

Renia enjoyed being in the company of others, watching the Dallas Cowyboys, Tiger Woods and a good tennis match, especially if it Serena or Venus Williams were on the court.

She is preceded in death by Timothy Lovejoy (husband), Randolph Houston Oliver (father), Lorean Collins Lofton (mother) James Earl Lofton (Stepfather), Gerald Oliver (brother), Rudolph Oliver (brother), James Ella Luke (Step-sister), Parthenia Cook Harris (sister-in-love), Sherry McCullough (sister-friend).
