Robert Dale Alexander, Sr.

Robert Dale Alexander, Sr., 89, of Amarillo died September 20, 2021.

Memorial service will be at 6:00 p.m., Friday, September 24, 2021 at Schooler Funeral Home Brentwood Chapel, 4100 S. Georgia St. Arrangements are by Schooler Funeral Home.

Robert was born July 16, 1932 To Albert and Edith Alexander. He proudly served in the United States Airforce and was an Aircraft Mechanic at Bell Helicopter. He married Peggy Bell in Canyon, TX on April 12, 1952.

He is preceded in death by his wife, Peggy J. Alexander in 2016; and daughter, Patti Jean.

Robert is survived by daughters, Janet Diane Lehnert and Cindy Gale Valdez both of Amarillo, TX; son, Robert Dale Alexander of Amarillo, TX; sisters, Roberta Cross of Albany, NY, Virginia Alexander of Indiana, Charlotte Wellman of Indiana and Gladys Bacon of Indiana; brother, Donald Alexander of Indiana; 13 grandchildren; 24 great-grandchildren; and 5 great great-grandchildren.

The family suggests memorials be made to Alzheimers Association or BSA Hospice of the Southwest.
