Robert John Heim, aka Bob aka Rob aka Boomer, born in Denver, Colorado on March 3, 1970 drew his last breath on October 24, 2019 in Amarillo, Texas at the age of 49, mainly, we suspect, so he didn’t have to continue to watch the Denver Broncos during this devastating season.
Bob graduated from Regis High School in Denver Colorado in 1988. Bob was married to Tammy Feeney when Amanda and Rebecca were born. He was then married to Jennifer Walker when Annie Joy was born.
Bob worked in the restaurant industry for over 30 years. He was known for spreading his acute restaurating knowledge across the industry by gracing a number of restaurants with his talents. In his spare time he was an avid golfer, super fan of the Denver Broncos, and a connoisseur of various spirits. He was known for his sparkling sense of humor, contagious smile and ability to quote, at a moments notice, one liners from popular movies. He was also able to recite word for word 89% of the South Park episodes aired from 1997-2003. Bob was known for his kindness and being the life of the party. He never met a stranger.
Bob respectfully requests six Denver Broncos pall bearers so the Broncos can let him down one more time.
Robert is survived by his father David Heim, sister Dorothy E. Heim, and brother Edward Heim. He is also survived by his daughter Annie Joy Heim. Robert’s mother Shirley Heim predeceased him.
Services for Robert will be held at St. Thomas Catholic Church at 2:00 p.m., Monday, October 28, 2019.
