Robert Brendan Kratochvil

Robert Brendan Kratochvil, 65, of Amarillo, Texas, passed on to his eternal home on February 4, 2024.  He was born in Jeannette, Pennsylvania to Joseph Robert Kratochvil and Wilma Mae Zvara, one of seven children.

Brendan attended Caprock High School, graduating with the class of 1977.  One of the things he enjoyed most in those years was playing in the band.  He went on to serve in the United States Army.  He was a member of the Franciscan Third Order, and for twenty-five years, he worked in the Buffalo Barber Shop in Canyon, Texas.

Brendan is preceded in death by his parents and his brother, John Kratochvil.

Those left to cherish the memories are his son, Robert Vincent Kratochvil; His two grandchildren, Conner and Vincent Kratochvil. His sisters, Christine Beavers and her husband Keith; Kathleen McPherson and her husband, Rodney. His brother, Patrick Kratochvil and his wife, Virginia; Joseph Kratochvil and his wife, Shannon; Timothy Kratochvil and his wife, Twyla. And  Sister in-law Diane Ramos Kratochvil. Brendan also had  numerous nieces and nephews.

There will be a Rosary held on Thursday, February 8, 2024, at 6:30 pm at St. Joseph Catholic Church. The Memorial Mass will be held on Friday, February 9, 2024, at 2:00 pm at St. Joseph Catholic Church.
