Robert L Daniel

Robert L. Daniel, Sr. went to be with the Lord on Wednesday, September 29, 2021, with his

beloved wife of 54 years by his side.

Funeral Service will be at 10:00 a.m., Monday, October 4, 2021 at Memory Gardens. Arrangements are by Schooler Funeral Home, Amarillo, TX.

Robert was born on October 31, 1943 in Temple, TX to Robert E. Daniel and Doris (Mouser) Daniel. He attended Academy High School in Academy, TX. He then met LaNell(Rogers) Daniel and they were married, on January 30, 1966. Robert joined the United States Army that same year and was stationed in Frankfurt Germany. He was honorably discharged in 1969.

Robert and LaNell moved to Amarillo TX in 1975, where they raised their two sons Bobby and Randy. Robert retired from FedEx in 2010. He was widely known for; bringing home stray animals, his generosity as well as his comedic personality. Robert was also a member of Journey Church.

He is survived by his wife, LaNell Daniel, of Amarillo; Two Sons, Bobby and Wife, Christal, of New Braunfels , Randy Daniel, of Amarillo; A sister, Karen and Husband Jim Schoephoerster of St George, Utah; Two Nephews and a great nephew.

Papaw leaves behind three grandchildren, Meagan, Emily and Ryden Daniel, whom he

cherished more than anything....

He was loved by all and will be greatly missed.
