Robert Doyle Shoffner

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m., Thursday, at Trinity United Methodist Church.  Rev. Dr. W. Douglas Mills will officiate.  Burial will follow in Memory Gardens Cemetery.  Arrangements are by Schooler Funeral Home, Robert Doyle Shoffner was born September 16, 1953 in Amarillo, Texas to Odis and Paulyne Shoffner.  He attended schools at Fannin and Amarillo High.  He was a Viet Name veteran, serving four years.  Most of his life he spent doing carpentry work and remodeling.  He was a loving father and son and will be missed by all who knew him.He was preceded in death by a sister, Mary; his grandparents Milt and Vida Shoffner and Oscar and Sally McKee.Robert is survived by his parents; one daughter, Shannon Shoffner Baum, who is in the U.S. Navy; two brothers, Roger and Rodney and wife, Betty of Amarillo; six nieces, Carly, Amanda, Shauna, Tiffany, Jennifer, and Racheal; nephew, Russell of Amarillo; his closest friends, Brandy King and wife, Shelly; one grandson, Ethan Baum of Hespersen, CA; and his faithful dog, Sam.The family suggests memorials to American Cancer Society, 3915 S.
