Robert "Teddy Bob" Theodore Alexander, III

Robert Theodore Alexander III “Teddy Bob”, 75, of Amarillo died September 17, 2019.

The family will receive visitors from 6-7:00, Friday, September 20, 2019 at the funeral home. Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10:00 AM, Saturday, September 21, 2019 in St. Mary’s Catholic Cathedral. Interment will be in Cataline Cemetery. Arrangements are by Schooler Funeral Home, 4100 South Georgia.

Teddy Bob was born January 29, 1944 in Dallas to Robert Theodore, Jr and Nan Alexander. He graduated from Stephen F. Austin College and proudly served in the US Army as an Atomic Demo Specialist He was a longtime cattle rancher and worked for the United States Postal Service. Teddy Bob was a competition rifle shooter and was an avid golfer. His favorite time in retirement was spent traveling in his fifth wheel with his wife creating memories. Teddy Bob was a longtime member of the St. Mary’s Cathedral Choir.

Robert was preceded in death by parents.

He is survived by his wife Barbara Alexander, his sons, Aaron Hollan and James Hollan, his brother, Homer Ed Alexander and wife Jaren, sisters, Sharon Hughes and husband Karl, Cindy (Alexander) Atkins and his puppies, Sydney, Meesa, and Bella Rose.
