Ron Schooler

Services will be at on Friday September 17th at St. Paul United Methodist Church at 2:00 p.m. with private family interment at Llano Cemetery.  Arrangements are by Schooler Funeral Home, 4100 South Georgia.Ronald Dale Schooler was born to Dale Kelly and Lura Lea Schooler on December 16, 1931 in Fairfax, MO. He moved to Amarillo in 1946 from Fairfax, Mo. He was a graduate of Amarillo High School in 1950. Ronald was a member of St. Paul United Methodist Church for many years and a board member of the Texas Trucking Association. He served in the Air Force as a crew chief on a B-50 bomber during the Korean Conflict. Ronald owned and operated Schooler Trucking Company for 50 years. He was loved by many and will be dearly missed.He is preceded in death by his parents and brother Phil Schooler.He is survived by wife Tinnie Sue Schooler; daughters Kelly Havron of Santa Fe, NM, Lori West and husband, Tim of Amarillo, Tx; brother, Maurice Schooler and wife, Mary of Amarillo; grandchildren Ryan, Austin, Timothy, Krystin, and Macy, two step-daughters, Pama Nobile and husband, Jimmy of Amarillo and Ginna Wilhite of Houston.Visitation will be on Thursday September 16th at Schooler Funeral Home from 6:00 to 7:30 at Schooler Funeral Home Thursday, September 16, 2010The family suggests memorials be sent to America Diabetes Association at 8008 Slide Road #12A, Lubbock, Tx 79424.
