Ronald Harold Kaiser, 85, went to be with his Lord and Savior on November 4, 2020.
Memorial service will be held on Saturday November 7, 2020 at 11:00AM at St Stephens United Methodist Church in Amarillo with Dr. Jim Smith and Pastor Travis Bennett officiating. Arrangements are by Schooler Funeral Home, 4100 South Georgia.
Ron was born on March 4, 1935 in Troy, NY to Harold and Dorothy Kaiser.
Ron joined the United States Air Force in 1955 and was stationed at the Amarillo Air Force base. He was honorably discharged in 1959 and later went on to be an insurance investigator in Plainview, TX for Equifax.
Ron married the love of his life, Karen Ewing, on November 10, 1983 in Denver, CO. They moved to Amarillo, TX in May of 1984 and started their own business, Kaiser Insurance Agency. He enjoyed meeting and getting to know all his clients and many became good friends.
Ron was a member of St Stephen United Methodist Church. He had memorized many scriptures including his favorite, Psalms 23.
Ron truly lived life to the fullest and seemed to think he was always the life of the party. He enjoyed listening to Elvis and if you visited his home, you would see pictures of his favorite actress Marilyn Monroe on his man cave walls. Ron talked to anyone that would listen to him, strangers eventually became friends. Ron enjoyed watching his New York Yankees and Dallas Cowboys. He also enjoyed the trips to the ballpark with Karen and traveling with his family and friends. Most of all, Ron loved spending time with family and best friends whether it was at happy hour or a backyard get together. He also had a special place in his heart for his 2 furry best friends, Kujo & Hershey.
Ron is survived by his wife, Karen Kaiser; mother-in-law, JoAnn Ewing; son Lt. Colonel Matthew Hudson and wife Mindy of Stafford, VA; daughter Katina Leigh and husband Daniel Chavez of Amarillo; daughter Rhonda Martin and husband Ray of Amarillo. Grandchildren Mindy Anderson & husband Adam, Kaitlyn Leigh, Kamryn Leigh, Caleb Hudson, Maylie Hudson, Brinley Hudson, Adilynn Hudson, Monica Martin, & Christopher Kaiser. Eight great grandchildren; 2 sister in laws Sharon Boland and husband Bruce; Patti Cunningham and husband Bruce. Many nieces, nephews and a host of friends.
He is preceded in death by his parents Harold and Dorothy Kaiser, father in law Tommy Ewing, brother Kent Kaiser and son Robert Kaiser.
