Rose was born May 23, 1963 in Kansas City, MO. to Carmelo & Marie Surace. She was employed at SOS Staffing as a Staffing Manager for the past 6 years. Rose was a dedicated member of St. Mary’s Cathedral and was recently commissioned as a Stephen Minister.
Rose was a loving partner, sister, daughter, and friend. To those who knew her, she was an unstoppable force that gave freely of her time, advice, love, or anything else that might be needed. She lived her life on her own terms to the very end. Rose had a love of life that was infectious. She motivated those around her to be present and in the moment. She taught her friends and family that it was ok to be a kid at times and she taught those closest to her the importance of love, compassion, and forgiveness. She will be forever missed and never forgotten.
She was preceded in death by her parents Carmelo & Marie Surace.
Survivors include her life partner Carol Soto and her nephew Andrew Navarette of the home; her loving sister Anita S. Perrone of Los Angelos, CA.; her brother Vincent Surace of Amarillo; her second mother Eloisa (Mammie) Soto of Haskell, TX; and several loving nieces, nephews, and friends.
The family is very grateful for all of the outpouring of love and support from friends and loved ones and for their continued compassion.
